Anyway, in stronghold you had to build a stable to get horses, so then you could get cavalry. Maybe cavalry should be expensive, unless you heard some wild ones from around the map to your stable, so the next few are as cheap as swordsmen ![]()

You do require a stable to get horses. Cavalry is created by getting a horse and then mounting any unit you'd like on it.
