Default Patch # 25 A - Empire Expansion Preview (Release ETA - tonight)

We're proud to announce that the first part of our game-changing Empire expansion is now live and actually ahead of schedule. This massive Empire expansion completely reinvents the gameplay - changing Kingdom Wars from a local city building game, into massive empire building simulation.
With today`s release we add the core functionality, with a few cool additions to be released in the next few days, as we get ready for the official release on Monday. Please keep in mind that this huge update is an preview release - thus containing some bugs, and stability issues - but we should have all of these fixed by Monday. Please let us know how you like the new features.



Patch # 25 A

::::: Major Fixes and Additions:::::
-Added NPC town capture - Vassal State
-Added Vassal town player management
-Added PvP defence and attacks on NPC Towns
-New main menu interface art
-New Human interface art
-Siege gameplay rebalanced - scale walls and use rams

:::::Minor Fixes and Additions:::::
-New Human Music - temporary addition
-Removed Merchant cinematics when using NPC town menus
-Fixed Various issues with Wall construction
-Fixed issues with Orc Tower plots rotation
-Minor updates to the World Map art, more to come
-Removed Silicia Mas town from World Map
-Fixed issues with range units resetting stats
-Interface Transparency

:::::Balance Adjustments:::::
-Walls, Gatehouses are several times harder to destroy
-Towers remain vulnerable to siege
-Various Human Units rebalanced and improved
-Minor adjustments to stats to majority of units

We`ll bring it back eventually, once it`s actually ready to be captured. And hopefully players will get there on Ships:)

any way you guys can be more specific? like provide info on how to vassalize a town or a unit stat change list, for example, "goblins hp at lvl 1 was 500 pre update, now it is 550" or something to that effect?

Also, any plans on making unit upgrades for orcs cheaper as the buildings level up? other races units get cheaper if you upgrade their buildings, but for orc units, like slayers impalers and beserkers, there is almost no benefit to leveling the building other than higher level base troops. I think that its not fair to orcs that our units are a flat rate when we are supposed to be able to spam them! please consider implementing this.

also, if i may ask this, i noticed some threads about losing troops in sieges popped up after the release, but you guys didnt officially warn people away from sieging until a day later, why the late response? you guys usually rock on this kinda stuff.

We really dropped the ball there - didn`t know extend of the bug till this morning. It`s fixed now - we should have a follow up patch with-in 30 minuets and compensating everyone who lost troops.
