question about PvP

Each time we go for a skirmish, we have to build my town from the start or it's already there ?
I ask this coz when I was playing dreamlords, it's not so cool in PvP!


And the troops also have to be newly created or it's already for expose as they'd been created during my previous time?

In an online match you will probably start with a new castle every time but in MMO you won't.

Most RTS games have a "skirmish" game mode, which I believe you are referring to. A skirmish typically begins a player with a town hall and some workers, maybe some basic structures and units.

DoF will have a skirmish mode, which is separate from the MMORTS mode. It is presumable that castles and cities will build much faster in skirmish mode, since they don't carry from match to match.

oh, I did think that we'd build my army during the MMORSTs... and in Skirmish (PvP), I need only to pull them out for battle, no need to build units any more.

for example:
let's say I have 200 units already. when I come to a 6-players skirmish, first time I can pull out 50 units only, after some die, then I can pull out some more units until my 200 units are all dead.


I like it to have 2 type of Skirmish, one to be fresh for battle, and one to battle with all we've already had (built) in MMORSTs.

mayb I made a mistake...
does MMORTs have PvP, and Skirmish is another thing different to PvP?

They both have a PvP in a way. Skirmish is PvP and the MMO part is still set up in a PvP type way but can include more than just 2 players going against each other.

I hope this game is more like Homm rather than dreamlords I really preffered HOMM more ^_^ and from what i read so far..its sounds more like HOMM and i'm really looking forward to it

I played the old dreamlords beta, and oh man... they just tossed you into the world and said. have fun.

Not very enjoyable I do say so my self.. this game looks 500% better, can't wait!

If I have to build my town over and over again it could get boring after a while... maybe there could be some options to start with your already build town or some pre-build ones?

Any new infos on that?
