True, i think its a positive move alos. The more you get the community of a game involved to highlight issues and give ideas/feedback the better.

I know an ETA for release is out of the question, but any idea when we'll see the CB start? -note- I do realize late spring is mentioned several times, I'm just wondering if that has changed since the 4-6 months depending on where you look the 'late spring' was mentioned. If I recall correctly - spring ends sept22nd.

Should be intresting i would imagine there may be a delay also if the beta turns out problems also. As what sometimes happens when they find the engines stutter under the volume of people using it. So keep in mind the beta is still a testing phase and as such part of development. Even if it is close to the release date

They said back in july or something that it will be released near February 2010, but that may have changed by now.

wouldent suprised me. With the dates of the closed betaa it might be a few months on from that.
