Default Resource Cap

Ok guys, I'm new to the game and this is my first post...and its probably a very newby question.

I've started up as Elves and got the grasp of the basics of the game, the resource gathering and such....but I have a small issue in that I'm actually generating too much resource for my meager town stores to handle, I'm unsure how to increase them beyond the first research you get at your settlement.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

Brian Shingles is on a good road to success

For Elves, building Residences and Tree Dwellings will increase your town's storage.

You can also transfer resources to your armies, but add units with high carry capacity like Treants to increase the army's resource cap.

Use excess resources to build up your town or trade it at the NPC cities for gold to buy more units.
