So will we only learn about why the races are fighting each other in mmorts quests or will the singeplayer campaign tell us anything about the conflict too?
Also, will the singleplayer campaign, at the end of it, be the beginning of the mmorts mode (will the map, city/town wise, be based off of or be the same as the singleplayer)?

I guess single player will tell you the most about the game.
But there going to be lots of story telling online as well!

Be awesome if they use a writer to actually progress the storyline as the MMO part of the game itself progresses implementing actual players or even battles into the storyline. I've always wanted that, thought it'd be awesome to be part of an in game storyline. Heck some players/alliances could even have an area where they can write/release RPG news articles, or even just articles about the game itself, plus that stuffs awesome for promotion. Probably just wishful thinking on my part though :P

That would be awesome to have but it would take a bit of work and the writer would have to know all these events which could prove troublesome because some of these battles and things wouldn't really be known by a lot of people.
If they were to implement it, an easy way to do it is to just follow largish guilds and really big players.

Dof 2 could be based on the mmo section 30 yrs later

Edit: so if an npc human city was destroyed in a battle by a player but the leader was escaped a human player might be given a quest to help rebuild the city for a powerful hero or somthing

That would be cool, Orcslayer, but do the npc cities just respawn or something like players' cities do?

The single player campaign is a more personal story, focusing on the human prince Erian. His circumstances cause the Orc vs Human war to start, which indirectly makes the Elves begin warring.

The single player campaign ends somewhere around where the MMO Campaign starts.

Usually in campaign you try to fix things not making them worse =P, so if Erian dies in campaign there should not be game over, because i guess it cant be worse than it is at end of campaign ?=P

Just one question...about campaign... is there just one way to complete the campaign or are there also alternative ways?
