R.I.P. Ballerium... Any other RTS???
Ok, as you all know, Ballerium died almost a year ago... And I was wondering...
Does anyone else know of a persistent MMORTS??? I am not talking about boring browser games like Travian or TribalWars, I mean a game that you can take control of cities from other players, and wage wars. Just like Ballerium. I was wondering if there was any MMORTS games like that, not any boring game where you enable PVP and fight if you want, a game where you can be invaded at any time without warning.

Sorry, never heard of anything like this ... maybe Saga or Dreamlords or even the upcoming Dawn of Fantasy

Saga = ****...-akee mushrooms
Dreamlords = Not an MMORTS, it's a single-player game with the option to have small fights with each other. They just toss the word MMORTS on it... Dawn of Fantasy = Never heard of it But no, seriously... I am looking for a massive multiplayer online game... Not an online game... MMORTS is better than ORTS...

Yes, it's a shame ballerium died, it's a rare breed of games, very hard to find. There are a few others I wish I could remember the names for you if they come to me i'll post it.
By the way, what he means is a RTS with a giant persistent world that can house hundreds of players and last days-months. With city building and all the perks. Roar! I beta tested Saga and Dreamlords heh. Saga isn't really mmo in that matter nor is dreamlords. Dreamlords is more turn based and in saga (like dreamlords) you enter into the battle as opposed to living ont he continent you fight on. Besides even in saga beta there were players exploiting newcomers and ripping them off with the whole card trading aspect, not really a community you wan't to hang around especially when they show up as early as beta. Dreamlord devs are pretty cool. I enjoyed the game a bit, plus they listened to a lot of stuff the players said. Also dreamlords is MMO on the continent, but the "side battles" as i'll call them are as you said definitely not MMO. So it is an MMO game, same as you would call any browser MMO an...MMO

We are listed third and most games feature in the first few pages www.mmortsgamers.com - sounds wacky but you know...we cover MMORTS
