Cannot see messages in General Chat

Sorry to be a pain but i seem to have messed my general chat window up and cannot see either what i or others are actually writting any help would be great

I noticed that this happens to me sometimes as well. Make sure you click on General tab in the chat couple of times. If that didn`t help - try restarting the game, sometimes that fixes the problem.

Now if even that doesn`t work - you`ll need to follow these steps to reset Chat settings:

1) Click on the organizer button in any folder. And select Folder and Search options. Go to view, and under Hidden Files and Folders, or Drives - click show hidden files.

2) Now navigate to C:/users/YOUR USERNAME/AppData/local/DoF/

3) In that file, locate and delete file called local_saved_data

Lets try a better explanation

1.) You need to enable Windows option to 'Show Hidden Files and Folders'. Full tutorial for this is available here: here.
2.) Go to your user directory C:\Users\Your User Name Here
3.) Navigate from your user directory to folder AppData, and then to Local. For more instruction, see:

4.) There should be a folder named DoF, in that folder, locate and delete file called local_saved_data
