new GPU?
I just got a new GPU - GTX 260 (should be core 216, because it has 216 processing cores, but for some reason it's not called like that, weird but ok). I run crysis on everything maxed out now with good FPS, that should give you enough of imagination what I can do with other games.
I wanted to know if it will affect DoF though. What kind of graphical effects will be available, and will it be an advantage for owning this card for DoF? Of course I bought it for high end games but I'm just curious. What would be the max card that you would need to get the max graphics and performance possible in Dof.

Well it was mentioned that they don't know yet, although for beta you'll need the high 6 series or 7 series? Don't remember exactly, but I did hear that it'll be a poop getting into the game for low end computers.

Unfortunately, we simply do not have time to optimize the game for lower-end computers before the closed beta.

Thats gonna run at extremely high FPS, and if your CPU is just as good, oh man, you and me can have some nice 10000 vs 10000 mod map battles huh? See who can command their units better during the 2 hour long battle to the last man drowning in blood.

somehow eagles maybe To be honest I hadn't played RTSs for years and it might take quite a bit for me to get back on track. Besides with the overwhelming end of school year at hand, it'll be hard to think and focus. Perhaps on a lovely sunday weekend :P
