good soundeffects are really important in games in my opinion. you should hire a professional sound recorder/maker

Damn deer...
I wish I worked with sound, but it's the least I worked on. I didn't do more than change the volume and copy/cut/paste pieces of music, usually to double a good part of one of my songs.
