certain cities don't actually have a city to attack its generally just the capitals of the regions

ok cheers on the mission to dagbor to seek warren the just what do i have to do, ive attacked the city and won the battle and killed warren and nothing happened quest is still active any ideas

Oops.. you just wanted to talk to him . You'll need to payoff the town to accept a peace treaty then click "enter city" and move your hero to warren.
