updater stuck at verifiying game files

This does happen sometimes. We suggest full computer restart (or going through way of terminating the process and terminating all DoF updater related processes), and then letting updater verify files up to 20 minutes. This is a rare bug, and once it gets through this process it should be ok after.

would suggest running updater as admin,if that fails download this http://dofgame.com/updater/bin/NewDoFUpdater.msi and try it,let us know if it gets you going or not

The last idea i have is un-installing dof,making sure to delete the folder in program files,and the folder in appdata then re-installing after a restart of your computer.
