Hello everyone!
May I present to you Dawn of Fantasy Source!

Dofsource.com is a brand new and the first Dawn of Fantasy only site.
It is a massive community site with tons of features. It's primary purpose is to host mods, maps, other tools and creations, as well as screenshots, fanart, fan movies and trailers and even guides and reviews created by us, the Dawn of Fantasy community once the game is out. We will also host official files such as patches, trailers, and the client itself (if Reverie lets us, that is).
We're focused on bringing you a lightweight, very fast site with all of these features stable and working. Currently, it's in "Public beta", as you may call it. The header is not fully tweaked in terms of the background image, so it will look much better, and tinyMCE editor is still yet to be implemented in article submission.
What is a good thing is that we're very cooperative with Reverie itself. Reverie members will be on the site answering your questions (which you can post in the questions forum section), and those questions will be added to the FAQ when they're answered. Also, we will constantly receive exclusive content from Reverie. For example, to celebrate our launch we have received 4 exclusive screenshots never seen before. It isn't much for now, but I promise there's more to come.
For now what we're looking forward to is your feedback. Before we can fully finalize the site, we want some public advice and suggestions. So feel free to walk around the extensive site and then give us your thoughts at the feedback forum.
We hope this site becomes a major hotspot in the DoF community and will be used by many of all of us for the same purposes - of sharing our world of Dawn of Fantasy with the rest of the world.

Also we don't have the annoying email activation, if you hadn't noticed, which actually saves plenty of time of deciding whether to be lazy enough of checking your email or not.

Not quite correct! http://dawnoffantasy.de is closed now, but they were a german fansite for 3-4 years. They had some really good content, too bad they closed.

You would, however, be correct in saying you are the only exclusively Dawn of Fantasy english site.

Anyway I signed up and posted, nice job.

I'm going to post feedback here, because I don't want to spend more time on forums. Two is enough for now.
Love the graphics and its look, but I agree: it is slightly cluttered.

I know it's unprofessional but why do you think it's in "Open beta"?
Currently im scanning my comp for malware and such. Its acting weird from time to time after yesterday, though it works and I only attempted to do a repair through the cd but I think it didn't change anything.
Anyway, I can use the comp but I won't bother it too much now - besides I don't want it to crash in the middle of uploading a css file or such which can just kill the site if its not fully uploaded, and I don't want to run too many instances while its scanning etc.
It took it about 5 minutes to get past the windows loading screen, which is what bothers me. Other than that everything seems to work fine, except for firefox, its a little glitchy here and there.
Because of this I wont work on the site right now. Depending on when the scan will end and when I'll decide to give it a shot, but I might not do anything until tomorrow.
