Noticing all the talk recently of moving armies across the map, I was curious. Sure you have creeps, but will it be possible to accrue men and resources with a small village, or just a camp. Thus allowing you to be semi-nomadic? In other words: Can I just be a bandit that attacks people around the world, kind of like a free company? OR, do I have to start a city, settle down, grow crops, and do all that stuff before I get into the action?
Understandably there would be disadvantages to not starting a town, rather severe ones I would hope, but partially for modding, partially for floating players, and partially because I think it would be awesome: Can we just wander with a band of dudes, instead of making a village? |

Wow, that's actually a brilliant idea... I don't see why this shouldn't be possible. You simply have little advantages over the big castles, yet you do have more advantage when you're not around the stronghold.. or just fighting other bandits. Honestly, that would be a great idea, and if this was in the game I would have probably been a bandit.

Something to think about for the first DoF expansion, perhaps?

Hopefully... Though it will be a major change, most users wont take it, only new ones because by then we'll have highly developed kingdoms.

I'm confuzzled, I thought that we could use mod material online, IF the server allowed it?

Yeah that's for skrimmishes, but for the MMO mode you cant use mods because its one big global server.

Human players will be able to have large armies ambush other human armies in camp vs camp battles which is pretty much instant war without large strongholds, the defeated army can gets looted for resources, you would still have a home stronghold though; it is the primary way it replaces armies' dead troops and resources.
