Default Dwarf Miner - Possible Bug?

So started a new town as an elf, and slowly but surely building up. Decided to buy a ton of dwarf miners so I could get a good amount of stone income. Then I noticed that instead of going to the treant as a drop off point they walk ALL the way to the base. This discombobulates me because when used in pair with humans they use the carts as drop off points. So basically are dwarfs not supposed to be able to use treants? Doesn't that make them basically 99.999999999% useless for elves? (Not that they're not already kind of useless because they don't mine very fast)

Yeah miners won't use treants which is the same as human/orc villagers on elf home city maps, I'd suggest buying a horse cart and putting at the stone mine

Once of the merc merchants at a human NPC town. I think the galehock or the small NPC town just west of that have the best prices (i think). Horse carts are under the siege section of merchant's selections.
