I guess that money to folks like gamespy for "highly positive" reviews was worth it for them

Thanks again for all the player comments - and if you haven`t yet - please rate us on Metacritic!

And to reply to GPS/Joseph:

From some inside info I have - it`s not usually about "money" but Advertisement contracts and freebies. Although it`s rare to see an outright bribe - like review getting a brand new gaming copy with a review copy of the game

In most cases developer or publisher spends from minimal 10k to upwards of 200k with major websites and this of-course helps with the review process. Some of you might recall a story at gamespot that got-out a while back - I don`t recall the details but it was just a case where an honest reviewer who badly reviewer a game that had major marketing contract with Gamespot got fired over it.

Lightbulb

I think DOF is a great game:
concept: great idea to have a persistent world.
dynamics: simple but fun
Graphics: Very nice, but to improve
Support: serious and willing to understand the players
longevity: will depend on developers
TIP TO ALL THE 'I waited a long time since the game similar to classic fantasy wow3 but with this wholesome freshness of the persistent world.
I trust in the developers to make improvements in the game even more beautiful and irreplaceable.

I'll post MY REVIEW
SHOULD I TRUST IN YOU
