Megaupload has been Closed

This has hit us hard! We spend large amount on premium membership and tons of bandwidth with megaupload, and just recently made additional payments to them as we wanted to host the DoF client there again (as we did during the beta). And now it seems like all that money is gone forever.

I`m hearing from so many business and regular people who store files for their clients or picture and videos of their loved once there - I won`t be surprised if this will get millions of people extremely angry - more than the SOPA action.

If your planning on becoming a "hacker" it would be best to start now,before all the info and back channels you need are blocked,dont think barnes and nobles gonna have that particular set of how-to's

As for megaupload,something sounds way off here,if i didnt know better i would say this is just a ruse to get anonymous to do something stupid.Which of course,theres already some news places reporting they have.

i mean whats so bad about a file hosting service
obviously there is gona be peeps uploading copyrighted material...
but they also do that on youtube....
maybe the FBI should take down youtube next... and google with it

speaking of youtube i saw a vid of anonymous stating they took down the FBI website :P
i guess they are already brewing up some revenge
america just loves to attract those terrorists don't they... be it irl or on the internet

Well the FBI Closed it
Which is same as US Goverment closing it since they are an US Department belonging to the US Goverment

As for now Megaupload is Legal
But they are Accused for quite alot if Illegal activity
of course the truth behind this wont be coming up that soon


But most Suspicios is the Infos the US Goverment gave themself
Saying the Order for megaupload came 2 weeks before the Blackout

2 Weeks is one hell of a Short time for an Project of that Size


Also this has made deep Cuts in many Games and Companys
Megaupload is one of the Worlds Biggest File Hosters

Many Games hostet Clients and Updates there
Advertising, Game Clients, Data and Software Packages as well as Video and Audio Materials from Schools and Companys had been hostet there and had been Paid for Months or even Years


This is gonna be a big Impact on the case ...

This is pretty good
With this Law the State is allowed to Monitor anything that a Jounalist does
and even further anything that is being involved with him

Depending on how this will be Interpretet they can Monitor the Private life of someone just because he Spoke with a Jounalist or even just because the Journalist wants to Speak with that Person.
And I have actually no doubts that they will interpret it that way .....



Big Brother here we come ^^

If I remember right the last guy who slowly put Journalism under State Control and then startet on cutting into Privacy was once the Leader of my Home Country
think that was around 1936 ^^
