The devs prolly know what i mean, but ever considered looking up some opensourced style sound files, far as i know you can use them freely as long as its mentioned somewhere where you got them.
TBH I have no clue how exactly licenses work,so this could be a horrible idea, but if its do-able,can get and request alot of various sound files. To start off would link here, has alot of sound files, and forums to request and answer some things about the license stuff. http://www.freesound.org/ The not so free---http://www.pond5.com/sound-effects/1...FUPd4AodfRdYlw but if you buy them,i'd think you wouldnt have to worry about license, and price doesnt seem exceptionally high, some are there for like 2 bucks, can take it out of kons porsche savings :> Last edited by Neinth : 01-17-2012 at 09:01 PM. |

I believe they have someone working on sound if they read this they might consider it, unless they already do as someone said they wanted to update sound

I wouldnt mind collecting some opensourced sound files from around the net if i thought it would help.
Hardest part is making sure the source is properly acknowledged, which is where I am unsure of what needs to be done there. |

Well i assume they would have to send a message to the owners then say they'll give them full credit for their sound files in the credits but they might want pay

Open sourced dont normally require payment, just acknowledgement.
And if you do pay for them(second site) you look for non-rolyalty types, one time payment. |
