Hello everybody,
I encountered an issue today while playing my orcs : the advisor got killed by wargs and despite all the efforts I put into his resurrection (I tried to use knights, enchanters, to log out then reconnect, to turn the client off...) I wasn't able to give him life back. I hope you'll have a fix to propose, good luck ! Here's a screenshot of his dead body (the exclamation point above his head is still here, but he can't give quests anymore) [url=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/513/screenshot2gq.png/] Thanks for your time ! |

Yeah this is bad - really don`t think there is a way to resurrect him - we`ll need to include something in the next patch in order to bring him back for you - so might take a day or two.
I`m really curious - how did Jentok managed to get himself killed though? lol. |

If dragon respwaning worked right would say add that bit of code to the advisors, would solve that.
Since it doesnt, would just add 100% dmg resistance to them till you can come up with a better way. |

Well, it occured when the 10th son of the old king showed up and triggered an attack of a bunch of wargs. My army was out of town at this moment, I had only my hero to protect the poor Jentokk, so he died quite fast despite a brave fight, I have to say.
Thanks for the help anyway ! (and the fast reply, it's really not that common nowadays) Last edited by WazDoF : 01-04-2012 at 08:16 PM. |

Have you logged back in since this happened?
A dead Advisor should be restored on login. |

Yes, I tried to log off and back several times but it did not restore the advisor, sadly.
Hope it will help. |

Ok, it looks like the Advisor is unconscious and not dead (if he was dead, he would be restored on login).
I've been able to duplicate this now. I'll add in some code to wake up the unconscious Advisor and include it in the next patch. |
