I'm pretty aggravated with the download links you provide, but can you please PM me the link? I can provide PoP if needed. One thing I plead: Please provide a Downloader that can allow us to not have to use a damn browser to download 2.6 gb worth of Data.
Or even better, provide a .torrent. I understand obvious concerns, but something needs to be done about that, imo. Oh well, whatever. Can you please send me the download link? It crashed at 15%. At 200kbps. |

Actually, look at other game installers. Most higher-quality (f2p even!!!) games that you download have a form of downloader. While a .torrent might not be feasible, at least not with a small playerbase. However, a good download manager application that STOPS and STARTS the download properly would be fantastic.

Use firefox,problem solved aye?
There are many add-ons and standalone programs capable of handling http transfers, including stoping.starting, pauseing, and using mutliple connections to increase speeds. Most download manager apps cost the developers money, pando i thinks one most used, even once download is finished it runs in background until you kill the process and delte in from your computer. Or,you could just use firefox :> |

ps: other f2p game dev's have a publisher who doesn't rip them off - these guys had a horrible publisher (no offence) and now are self funded so this comes out of there pockets

Hmm...
Fully updated FF, and fully updated Chrome BOTH encountered the dropped connection, while my other connections were perfectly fine... Finally got it though. |

Little bit of a necro, but i have to say.
Ask your ISP if they can put it on their free-zone service (if they have one). i'm on iinet in Australia, found it on Games.on.net (which will soon merge so i get freezone from it) went from 100-200 kb/s to 1.5 MB/s stable. massive improvement right ![]() FYI, this is the link: http://games.on.net/file/48103/Dawn_..._-_Full_Client -Blaz Last edited by Blazier : 03-04-2012 at 09:51 AM. |
