Online Ranks and Badges?

Hey, im just curious as to if theres any ranking system for DOF.

Many games have special icons next to the users ID name showing some kind of Ranking system or reward system.

I was just curious as to if there is any of this at all, and if there arent any Rank system what about a Badge Reward system, for example every Beta Tester would get a badge showing that they where beta testers beside their names?

At this point we don`t have anything specific in mind at this point.

We will use player`s feedback from Closed Beta Stage 1 to come up with the system - most likely we`ll give Titles/Rank based on all the assets (size of the city army e.t.c) and achievements in MMORTS (number of victories e.t.c).

There is a chance this will be a dual title, like "Broke Warlord" for a player who won lots of PvP games but is quite broke at the moment.

I don't know if any of you have played Company of Heroes.

nope never played it, but i was thinking something in the line of titles for how the player plays and not his ranking. is he a defending player then give him the title turtle champion or something along those lines.

ive played age of empires on the compute r and they had a ranking system sort of like what you mentioned
