I proposed a Mechanic to that for Honor Guard Units and other Heros

As I said some time ago

I am one of the people who grows some attachement to his Units


The Pair of Swordmen I got along with my Hero at starting the Game
have been with me forever and have only been Discarded due to Bugginess

If not for that I would still have em
I sort of treatet em as my Heros Escort and Honor Guard after all :P

i think it would be great if you could take the enemy banners as a trophy as they did say they were working on them

Sorry guys, i just think its a horrible idea, we have better things to develop than grave yard. It would be okay if we had nothing else to make, fix, polish, improve, but that will never happen ~ we will always have more things to improve, like Hero customization, Alliances, Pathfinding, better online play without lag... still a neat idea but it doesn't give enough benefit for its development.

Agreed. Units are made to be used -- and die for good. Just like in real life..game can't get any more softcore...

one question if you could answer are banners still planned for release?

Yes, we'll add custom banners some time in the new year.

This isn't the best video, but it will give you some idea of the variety of banners that will be available to humans.

yay i saw banners before and i remember them and btw THATS alot for just one race i love it and was wondering are they going on walls and units?

With the combination of colours, patterns and symbols there should be thousands of possible banners for each race.

Banners will most likely go on the walls, on the Town Hall/Grand Hut/Settlement and be carried by armies on the world map.

nice can't wait to see what the community comes up with but one question could it be possible to apply the banner on our units chests or our heroes cape or the sort as a sort of crest as when hero customization comes out this would be one of the small details that would impress quite a few and one more thing it says you live in north-west america but i thought reverie was based in north east Canada?

That would be impressive and may be included one day, but won't be added any time soon.

I need to update that, I don't live in North West England at the moment as I moved to Coventry.

Reverie as a company is based in Toronto where Kon lives, but has staff around the world who work remotely. Remember, Reverie started from the modding and scenario design communities of other games and most employees were recruited from there.
