Thanks! The sky effect is a premade FX called Aurora Borealis - I just changed the min effect size in the stats menu so that it would cover the whole screen.

Not originally, but you can adjust any effect's size/color/area/transparency/etc. without modding or scripting by editing the object's in-editor stats menu.

ahh editor can make basically any particle effect imaginable only limitation is making a new bran new texture yourself(have to use existing ones). you can edit existing particle effects to such a degree that they will not resemble the original at all.
