Can't finish quest.

Hello, i've played for a few hours now, and i'm stuck with what seems to be a bug, i'm an Orc and i can't talk to my counselor. He has a question mark on his head, yet i have no quest in the log, and talking to him makes my hero attack him (and eventually kill him, but he comes back after a while).

The NPC stuck is in the camp close to my village, my advisor went there and doesn't do a thing either. By the way, once in a while i can select some of these NPC (advisor, guard and the missionnary) and control them, or right click and attack them (happened with a building too when i tried to evolve units)
