Default Help me Decide, Buy Game or wait?

I am bored out of my mind right now with nothing to play.

With that said I saw DoF and it looks nice but I have had people strongly warn me about the bugs and such it has atm.

How bad it the bugs and latency/lag issues for real?

Also how exactly does pvp work?

Lastly it seems even for a new game it has a severe lack of content, seeing launch date about 1 week ago, and people on forums saying they are at end game worries me.

Anyone that can shed light on these issues, and give me some advice, or there opinions would be great, ty

I like the game but going to give a honest opinion on it.

"How bad it the bugs and latency/lag issues for real?" Fine for pve but a nightmare for most in PvP.

"Also how exactly does pvp work?" You build a army and based on what troops and their gear/lv it gets a attack score, if you or someone near you hits the pvp buttom it should match you with someone with a attack score close to yours. Sadly I my 741 attack army got matched with a 354 army but it didn't matter because I frooze up and crashed after I accepted the pvp fight.

"Lastly it seems even for a new game it has a severe lack of content, seeing launch date about 1 week ago, and people on forums saying they are at end game worries me." Pretty much true you can finish building your town in a day or two with full upgrade. The endgame is PvP that doesn't work for most atm and other PvP features that haven't been added yet.

Having said all that I enjoyed the game while I was able to play it but Im unable to PvP/quest/pve grind all due to bugs so playing other games until the patch this Tuesday to see if it helps. My advice, check back Tuesday.

I dont have anything else to do or play thats why I'm still around here. If I had something else to do I would definately go away for a week or two and check back then.

Check out the PvP thread to see the ammount of bugs we are having in that department. However if you are really bored and got nothing else to do buy the game. Start building up your city and learn how the stuff works. The game is really great and the devs are patching it up fast although this is waaaaaay to early released. Basic functions are not yet implented, most of the pvp games I get into doesnt even last until I meet the other dudes army.

It will be great, but right now you gotta be really patient to be able to stay in the game especially if you are mainly into PvP

The game concept is great, and it would have been a hit if released in the proper time and with the proper advertising. I'm fairly convinced that it would have been.

However, DO NOT buy this game in its current state. The best you can get is angry. Game looks like a giant green bug monster that eats your time trying to solve the tide of technical problems that it throws at your face. lol

Now seriously, this is a beta, not a release. Wait, and then, IF and only IF problems solved (ask in the forums) buy the game cause it should be worth it in the future.

I counsel you buy the game
Has errors, but they are repairing a good pace.
The game does not end in a week.
You have many missions and build great armies takes time.
There are also several game modes.

There might not be a lot of content now, but be patient: more is being added all the time.
As for the bugs, most should be gone after a couple more patches.

The game is not without bugs, but the Devs are really working hard to fix them, to the point of a patch a day. This Tuesday or Wed there is the first content patch which will be nice. Humans seem the most stable. Orcs a the most buggy elfs are.... well I would never try a elf so I wouldn't no. And since I am talking about it, if you buy the game and you create a Elf city I will burn it down to the FN ground UNDERSTAND!

I would buy the game ... oh wait, already bought it.

As a personal opinion, the game is great and it is worth to bought only if you saw at least the betas, otherwise I would suggest to wait a couple of weeks or more to not destroy the joy the game could give you. For now the game is buggy, period, but the devs are working on the game day and night so as I said, my personal opinion is you should buy the game at a later stage but better buy it now if you consider buying other strategy games. Aaaa, it is 100 times better than Saga was.
