Well as you saud, it's a Japanese schoolgirl. But yeah, I know what you mean, it's just that those kinds of labels bother me. It's a bit like saying that the Allies are the American/European manga faction.

I do admit there's a lot of soft p-o-r-n (apparently we have some kind of censorship on this site) material in RA3.

They offered me BETA because I won the OMC4 mapping contest in C&C 3, I turned them down and quit cnc3.

Just like the Scrin in C&C 3? Do you see a series of disgrace building?
lol.

are you allowed to say this **** although your classified as a developer haha

Now after having about a weeks experience i can comment on this game.
For a change it appears EA didnt fully kill a decent game, I mean they focused too much on getting hot girls into it and its advertising than on the gameplay.
The gameplay so far has been rather good, the campaigns arent too easy but their not difficult on the whole but still take a lot of time to clear.

The Empire Of The Rising Sun seems too unrealistic to work but surprisingly it does, they are the rushing race with fast build speeds and unrestricted building, the transforming units also make them a very formidable enemy, (just imagine, you have them in your sights with a plane or two and you think that group of vehicles has no anti-air and is going to be easy prey, then they transform into dogfighting fighter jets and thats when you know your going to have to pay close attention to the fight at hand)

I have a few problems with the game however, the skirmish AI is too easy at easy and at normal what it should be at hard and just dont attempt a brutal enemy.... they start with double your cash and have double the unit cap... It took both me and a mate to take down 1 brutal enemy....

Also the Online is rather good but it gets quite limited as many people use the same tactics, a popular one is to build up many japanese artillery boats to take out the base in a fast efficient way from a safe distance...
Another problem with online is the matching, it has a ranking system in place to show your win/loss and other such stuff but that does not come into play, I (rank 367) was matched up with a guy (rank 16), he had 267 wins and 12 losses... i was doomed from the start.

Overall it was a fun game and was worth buying, somehow EA managed to make themselves a game which didnt suck from the word go..

8/10

P.S, sorry for bringing back this old topic from the grave
