Siege units: More Racial types ?

I'd love to see more racial and diversed siege weapons instead of that being the only types the units share in common.

Humans should naturally have ladders, siege towers, trebuckets ect.

Orcs: Ogres ( Should be able to attack Gates).

Siege Beasts ( think elephant/large rhino): with a platform on top of it (functions as siegde tower/walking archery platform).

Rock thrower ( our current Balistia/catapult like with rocks - weaker than the trebucket,)

ladders: (would seem naturally the orcs know how to put togethere a ladder).

Elves:

Unit ability: (what unit?): Summon vines(sp?). makes a climbable vines to scale the walls.

Unit Ability: (magic unit type?): magic type: rusts/infests gate until it finally collapses.

Balistia (sp?): Elven Catapult.

Siege Tower type: No suggestion here.

Why not have an Elve summon a wooden bridge up the wall

Great ideas guys! Not sure if you knew that - but some of the current siege weapons we got straight from the beta testers ideas - we might have the similar contest soon to add more siege weapons.

How about the elven ranger "grow siege ladder/vine" ability that was planned?

This is exactly what we`ll add. We think several Elven units will have it.

some sort of mobile walls that can protect the attacker from arrows and such, much like the hoarding upgrade for wall

If their adding the Moral system, then orcs definately need a catapult which they can fire corpses at the enemy from, to damage their moral <.<

or simply have them do as the old mongols did, put thier dead on the catapults to shot into the city and spread diseases. Could be used either as you said lower the morale but if they doesn't add that too the game maybe use it as some sort of damge over time thingy?

Yeah. that' suits the orc's "mood" quite well, primitive, brutal, and terror.
