here is what mine says a problem cause the program to stop working correctly windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avalible and that is what mine says when it stops. this time stoped at 7 files remaining

looks like the dev's might be out til tuesday when their big patch comes out. (their working their assess off on A siege feature and probably some bugs they've been working on) thou i cant confirm it, so for now we just need to bang our heads togethere and see if any of us can find a solution to your issues hm?
ps: I base this on that the devs usually are all ove the forum at this hour. Perhaps you should begin comparing your specs to somone who dosnt have any issues. then see if all of you have something in common. from the same netframework. to other systems that might affect it

hey theres been worse effects. its four days. when i bought battlefield badcompany 2 i couldnt play for over a week ( nor could most of the majority). hmm. but yeah i agree it sucks. but the dev's are trying their best to fix this game up (and their very active inthe community) but they needed a couple of days to work intenstively on a couple of things included a feature their required to activate. nonetheless I'm sure asoon as their back online they'll help ya out.
in the meanwhile we should try to see if we cant fix this no? the updater is just a program. obiously this is locally based on your computer ( something that conflicts) just gotta find out what now?. Would you mind loading up a Dxdiag for me? i'll look it over with my own. and see if theres any major differences, but really i dont think its the specs of it. usually its support programs like java and net framework that's the reason it dosnt work.

I dont have any issues with the updater. so am looking at your diax to see if your got anything that's to different from my own computer.
