Something you guys might want to read.

One thing I would like to quote:
Quoted from m_brink: "A Developer makes the game.
A Publisher manufactures the disks and packaging, handles the advertising, and sells the copies to retailers.

Generally, Publishers also provide most or all of the money to make the game and get the majority of the profits."

Besides that unofficial quote, I give no comment at this time.

Hmm, the thing about a crysis mod, or a mod in general, is that you dont get to pay for it.. but in this case you do have to pay for it, thats why im making these statements.

Please stop embarrassing yourself like this, eventhought you're just 15 years old..
im not a super fan boy im not the one asking for new stuff. im just sick and tired of peeps demanding for new stuff.

All I'm saying ( unofficially ) is that when Reverie had no publisher, a lot of the publisher's duties where on top of us as well, now that we have the publisher that will be doing some of the duties the public so much desires, we can focus more on finishing the game rather then slowing production and showing unpolished content to the public.

Their is games I've seen that aren't released for months that I want just on the basis of a good trailer.
And Lord knows what went wrong with one trailer sans good narrating...

Can we stop regurgitating these discussions? Frankly it's annoying

Some things take patience which it seems you dont have. I havnt complained once and I wont ever complain that they are taking too long. However I will complain over and over about people like you that get on my nerves. Trying to force Reverie to do something when you have no say whatso ever. So please stop whining and wait. It will come out sooner or later so in the mean time go play somethings else. Or mabey get a life if all you have to do is sit here and wait.
Lol, anyone that says someone else online has no life is clearly saying it because they have nothing to do. I check here once in a while, even before I registered and gave my opinion so I wouldn't agree with that at all. Also for anyone that posted against what I said-please learn to read. I never said anything about rushing a release date-I jsut said that if the game is out in Q1 2009 then they should probably be considering some advertisement so people know of the game.
I don't really see how asking on progress is really being impatient-I didnt asked for any work in progress, just a few responses from Devs every now and then about what's going on. Since the new publisher nothing else has been said and from what I can see it isn't the biggest publisher out there and I'm curious about what they can do for the game.

Grizz, don't bother, a substantial number of members here love jumping the gun and assuming everything except what you're saying. Looking at the old topic about this, they loathe any opinion but their own, so don't even try.

Human nature dear boy lol yeah i agree, no-one these days respects each others opinions and holds dear to them the belief that they themselves are right. I TRY to be different to that and most of the time I am respectful but sometimes i just lose it and dont listen to anything anyone says (thats rare, usually im really angry or depressed ^^ )

I personally enjoyed the other things we got to see like the screens.
