What is the secret to the updater/installer not crashing?

Hi,
I'm trying to install the game, however the updater gets down to only 2 files left before it's done and it crashes to the desktop.

I know I've read others have had issues with the udpater crashing, so thought I'd ask what do I need to do to fix this before I give up on the game all together.

Edit: Running as administrator seemed to cure it and allow the updater to finish the project.
