Am I missing something? 2 days til release

Its just 2 more days til the game releases and theres no hype? or anyone talking about it much except for the stickied release date. and ive heard some have already bought the game but thats impossible because i looked on amazon,gamestop,steam,d2d and its not being sold "yet" so im quite confused because usually a few days before release, theres alot of "Gimmi gimmi"

that's because most retailers don't have it. Only a few from UK, not sure how come though. I'l order mine for steam for sure though,don't feel like waiting weeks to play it.

Yeah but, companies like Gamestop always give notice when a new game is coming out before they get it and its not even in the "coming soon"

I believe it's because of the budget axal.Most games you see at gamestop being announced before is because they have the money to advertise which cost a lot.I'm not sure reverie can afford to do that much advertising yet.

yeah I'm definitely not happy about that.IF i could pre-order from an online site like steam and get the bonuses you guys get I would be way happier.But meh can't do much except to wait and see

I'm curious, how willl one be able to purchase this game if no one is selling it? I'm just a bit worried because i know a great game when i see one and this has the most beautiful setting and castles, cities; i just don't want anything to stop me from getting it on the 6th this month

I hope it will be at the retails we know on the 6th at least.I am still a bit disappointed though that some people will be able to get with 120 influence and a dwarven/dragon unit on the top of that while il have none of those bonuses since i can't pre-order it at steam

With 0 ability to pre-order (at least for me since I have not seen it anywhere in any form) in the USA I assume that Reverie will end up doing something for people who end up purchasing the game in any capacity. Riot did the same thing with LoL where you could pre-order and get x,y,z. Then they changed the game to F2P and gave a lot more bonuses to the people who bought the game to begin with.
I am rather curious as to what the price tag will be though. Like the OP said, there are only 2 days until the "release" and there really has been no talk of it other than a few people from Reverie posting about it. It is one of those things where you want to buy the game at release, but you assume that it will have a price drop + some more incentives soon after the initial release to bring more players in. I like the game and support what they are trying to do so I most likely will buy upon release, but I really wish they would be a little more vocal about what is going on as it is only 2 days from release at this point.



Edit: I did google dawn of fantasy price and got some UK sites that have the game listed at
£12.85 which is something around 21$ at the current rate.

We really apologize, but DOF will not be released this week. It will be out within the next couple of weeks, and we'll post the date as soon as possible, but Reverie and 505 agreed with the opinions of many of our beta testers that it would take a couple more weeks to turn a good game into a great game.
