If the game could notify about online events like an attack on out territory in the MMO part on a popular messenger (skype, msn, yahoo?) players would be able to fight PvP more often since it would be a lot easyer to meet online.

I think it may have something like that.

Not shure what this question is exactly about.
If it is about your territory being attack when you are Away From Comp there may be a window that pops up with a set amount of reply time before an auto tribute for not accepting the fight. If this is when loged off a notification of your territory being attacked then you should know when you are logged off you can not be attacked. If you are looking for a large battle that might occure in World of Warcraft where alliance attacks horde and all hord get an announcement of the attack and run to kill the aliance then i am sorry to disapoint you that at this point of the game development it appears that you can not have large number of players on either side. Their is litature floating around the boards that games are currently caped at 6 players they are trying to rase the player cap to 8 players. In the MMORTS componet most litature seems to point to mainly 1 vs. 1 games of an invadeing army vs defenders home. If i am completely wrong in my interpertation of your question then i am sorry. I would like to suggest that you check the FAQ and any questions you have be placed there so the devs can have an easier time finding our questions and may be able to get to them with official answers sooner. |

i meant something like:
You are offline, nobody can attack You when You are offline, but they can try to send a request to the serwer. The serwer sends that request to a selectet messenger, and if You log in in ... 10 ? minutes, You can accept the challenge and defend. |

Why would you need to wait ten minutes? There will be something similar to this in the game though, I'm not sure if it will be the same as what you were talking about.

Oh, ok. For sure 100% accuracy, one of the guys from Reverie should confirm this but I think there will be some kind of messenger in the game.

1. You must know the player as such why not IM them anyway. 2. From what i have read so far a challenged player pays tribute to the challenger on a denied challenge. 3. Because of number 2 a player could ruin an offline players economy by just constantly challenging him for the tribute. For an official answer the original poster should have posted this in the FAQ. |

I think that you can't attack offline people no matter what.
I'm not in the forums for a long time I know, but I did not read anything about being able to attack offline people by sending messages. But a developer will come here and tell us the answer. |

That would discriminate against people without IM's, and also would mean all the IM addresses would have to be stored on the database. Not many people would want this.
