I wouldn't mind random placement myself. It would add more of a rushed feeling to the game.

I'd like the option to start anywhere, makes it harder to know where your opponent is, so the need for scouts.
A feature where two players for instance in one fort against two others in another fort imo would be a great idea, a good chance for people to work together.

yea i like that but not 2 players in 1 fort that are an enamie of echather
