How and when did you hear about Dawn of Fantasy?

I think the first time I saw dof was on youtube. I think I was looking for a new rts to play, but not a mmorts. After seeing the trailer I found the forums. I then forgot about it for like a year and ran across it again which is when I saw the first beta sign up back in 2009. The beta didn't start for almost a year later, but I stayed on the forums posting and eventually made it onto the team!

I do a lot of industry research on digital entertainment and found myself thinking one day about how Blizzard, famed creators of some of the most beloved RTS games of all times, up and converted one into an MMORPG franchise, simultaneously tackling and arguably perfecting a methodology for both genres.

So I started to wonder: What if they took their experience with the MMO meta-genre and applied it to one of their fantastic RTS franchises? After putting together some technical and balance designs of what I thought would make a good MMORTS, a quick Google search of the term led me here, and I've settled in quite happily, convinced DoF has an excellent shot where so many other MMORTS attempts have failed.
