Wink What happens when you go offline?

Just saw the first trailer for this and thought, "OMG, has somebody really managed to pull off an MMORTS?" and naturally registered immediately. So hello to everybody, nice to be here and all .

However one of my first questions is, if this is a truly persistant MMORTS, what happens to what you've built when you go off-line? Oh and please, let me just head off any "assuming you ever go offline hehe" style puns before they start lol.

"Even when a player is offline, their homeland will still be in development with the worker units still gathering resources and finishing constructing any buildings tasked shortly before logging off. Although, the gathering, construction, and training rates are significantly slower than in the fast-paced Skirmish modes."

If you want the game to be for as many as possible, a clever implementation might be that walking great distances like if you want to siege someone takes some time, so that you dont find yourself crushed in the morning when you wake up I recently registered so this might be something thats allready discussed another place, but well it was top forum post so...

Daraim's post is right, when you log off your economy is still going and anything you tasked your workers to do before you signed off they will do (like building something).

Look through the Frequently Asked Questions Here and the Fantasy Fridays Here to find a lot of your questions.

It's in the FAQ.

Q: Can my stronghold be attacked when I'm offline?
A: No, your stronghold will remain untouched.
