Bfme 2
So I played the first one and it was alright, still play it once in a blue moon whenever I need to get me Lotro on. I've heard a lot of mention of the sequel on these forums and how it could be similar in gameplay to DoF. So was wondering is it worth picking up? I read about the War of the Ring mode and was intrigued and was wondering if that could be played in multiplayer? If so would anyone waiting for DoF want to play a game? Anyways thought this would be a good place to ask about it.

meh, its okay, although I wouldn't recommend it, but nothing can compare to DoF *Bows down in worship*

It really is great, sometimes war of the ring is multiplayer but it is not as fun as it used to be. Also i returned the cd for cash

I liked BFME1 when I was younger, however when I got BFME2 and ROTWK I never really played it - I loved mapping for it, specialising in intricate detail and landscapes more than anything, so that when I got round to doing map.ini I made lots of files for hero powers but never finished any of them.

BFME 1 and 2 are totaly different, the first one is totaly different from most rts while the 2nd one came in and started following all the other rts' and athough lost some of its mojo still and awsome game.

I like bfme 1 most, of course bfme 2 is more fun in multiplayer then bfme 1 got the great stuff. I mean every game with possibility to walk on walls in a normal skirmish is worthy of highest decorations. (bfme 2 had to use un-walkable walls) Thats why games like rise and fall civilizations at war and the total war series are awesome
(the walls don't necessarily need to be good looking or have some awesome mechanics, just a ladder or some stairs up then it is complete. No game without walkable walls is even worthy of being called strategy game. unless its a futuristic game )
