I love how each pix shows a massive combat swirl of troops. This should be a lot of fun. I can already see men troop rushes being furnished by their troops and watching people desperately trying to micro in on archer with their anti-infantry troops. Good Work

Where are paladins?=P
Beside those swordsmen with big shields really look nice on picture and that "shield wall" on bottom middle picture. And yet again ..... they could have more fantasy armour =P.

Personally, I'm a fan of the late 12th century (Third Crusade era) great helm for a knight, nothing flashy, just a nice clean look that fully protects the head and upper neck.
Pic here: http://www.ourdecay.com/Medieval/Pic...t_helm_400.jpg The full plate doesn't really make me jump out of my seat, but at least it's semi-realistic and not adorned with all sorts of pointy objects, spikes, horns, etc. that would impair one's ability in combat. The other armors look OK. I do like the use of maille. All I can think of when I look at the emblems on the shields is Byzantine Empire... Would be pretty nifty if the shield textures picked up a custom heraldry for your empire that you can create by either uploading an image or using an in-game editor. Don't know if that's been mentioned before.

And i just been comparing melee units, and you would think that the orcs, being more of a brutal melee oriented race, would have the advantage. But every orc unit is significantly weaker in terms of stats compared to the others. Kinda lame. ![]()

Orcs have the numbers, not too mention dirt cheap or free productions costs.
