You guys are listed on Gamespot as I'm sure you're aware, but the release date information reads "Q1 2009." Any way to update this information, or does it really matter?

think they're better off advertising in places where people actually care about strategy games... not gamespot where you might get charged based on how many idiot children who think halo wars invented the RTS genre happen to "hit" the site when your ad is up

The information I was referring to wasn't on an advertisement, but on the game summary and preview information.

We have plans to bring many sites up-to-date who feature DoF. These plans are ready to execute once a few more things fall into place.

PC gamer is certainly more friendly to strategy games than gamespot every is. And independent stuff for that matter.

As long as their isn't another UAW distaster i'll be happy. Petroglyph had sega 'advertise' the game and as a major publisher you would have expected a lot of people to know about the game. No-one I spoke to had ever heard the game and then it sold hardly any copies which was a shame as the game itself was actually pretty good. Making sure fan sites know about the game is crucial and also modding groups as this game seems like a modders paradise.

Supreme Commander was always kind of underwhelming to me, from a modding perspective. I always get mods for games, I mean I'd mod a childrens adding game if I could. I had always heard SupCom was going to be the Jesus of modded games, descending upon us masses before leading us euphorically to the promised lands, but I've seen it as one of the little-most modded games I've ever played. I suppose it was due to similar reasoning, as that of UaW's failure.
