I got a question what about unfair maps?
For example:Some map maker makes a map that puts all the res on his side and giving the enemy nothing will this happen
Because I hope not

Simply allowing the use of only Reverie made or approved maps in tournaments and such solves the problem.

Sometimes giving advantages is unavoidable, unless you want a boring symetrical map. But you can't restrict what people make on map editors though.

What I would see, is that custom maps would not be ranked or recorded in anyway, this therefore making imbalanced maps completely useless. But also we could however make very good maps offical in patches and such. so the really good custom maps turn into rankible skrimish maps.

In the lobby there should be a map preview *like in almost all RTS* so the players can decide themselves if the map is "UNBALANCED"

also to add to the map preiveiw there should be icons telling players where's respawn points, ECT
