Nicely done; you really needed to transcribe a lot of your work for the multiplayer side into singleplayer features (after all, ~90% of gamers are singleplayer only), and this looks positively beautiful. Now here's hoping to hear about the beta soon :-D

There really isn't much more to say about it until we release the editor publicly sometime in the beta.


This is pretty much the online game but offline without the micromanaging of your economy. Or are you thinking of something completely different say, a sandbox sort of mode without much if any combat where you just build up your city, economy and tech.

That's true for traditional RTSes like say, supreme commander, red alert, c&C, starcraft etc. But our game will see a much more even split because of the MMO portion of the game, obviously though we don't want to leave the single player with nothing to do so we're working on that as well. Castle defend and Lay siege and now kingdom wars. Things are looking good for those of you who don't wish to play online.

Thats great news in case my internet dies This could be potentially very fun, unless it fails a bit like War of the Ring mode did... Too drawn out and ultimately rather boring...
