hopefully Reverie will actively support the modding community and be open to adding new features - or at least give some sort of forum for a sort of pvp that allows for empire building, and the subsequent mods that would be needed to deal with that

I'm actually a member of a mod community and you can actually contact the forum admin to create a sub forum for your mod. It's so much simpler than having to post everything in one thread.

The game looks pretty smooth in the videos. I'm really impressed with the level of detail and amount of troops that can be present on screen at the same time. I agree that the screenshots don't do the game justice. The video does a much better job.
