Fantasy Friday XIX - Elven Buildings

Looks awesome! I really love the art and models for all the buildings(and all other elven things). It all looks really cool and I find the walls to fit fine, as they are covered in vines/plants and have a nice tannish tint that fits the forest to me. I was wondering how you make the railways between your walls and buildings for the elves, I don't think I see any in the screenshots.

I ordered my orcs to cut down the tall skinny one first and they got confused! Just playing, i'm sure with a little experience under our belts it won't be a problem.

I know for sure that the buildings and stairs are pre-built to match the shape of the tree(done in a 3d modeling program). When you building them that probably have a mount point/pre-determined spot that the building/stair attach to on the tree. So their is some code involved to do this.

Think about how the humans build there buildings, just image that on a tree.

If they don't make cookies, we can destroy them.

Perhaps they do look a little similar. Not a big problem, we can add some distinguishing banners and other props later on.

You can't build them, they're only in the NPC/skirmish towns. You'll automatically build staircases when you build walls, but you can't connect your walls to your buildings.

Would it be possible to connect the trees and walls with stairways in the scenario editor? Then you could have hand to hand combat 40 feet in the air

Sure, but you can't actually go up the spiral stairs on some of the trees.
