My plan is to just go solo and majorly crush skulls while every clan in the game begs me to join them as I sit there utterly annihilating every last one of them!

I might join a guild, might start one, but is all depends on chance, and other various factors.

I definitely plan on either starting/joining a guild but only after the game comes out. Probably based off of who I meet in game first and who's my neighbors.

I will definitely want to be part of a guild - I am not sure about heading one though.

I will be god, i will create a world of utter hostility and my noblest intentions are destruction and war. My power alone will make every guild take suicide, people will jump off their towers, swordsmen will stab themselves, and a mighty A-bomb will fall from the sky to finally rid the world of people.

I guess i won't be joining a guild if that was possible But i guess if i find a cool person i might join that person

Clan Walla Walla (Humans)
Clan Uru'kaiyre {Uu-Ruuh-KII-REE} (Orcs, possibly light RP)
Clan Ethrenpast (Elves)
Clan Khaotic Control (Mixed Races)

Don't know if I will join a clan/guild. I am usually the loner. I might just try it for this game though.

Guilds, I think, will be a good thing in a game. However, I think there is one good thing we could limit.

Once players reach a certain "power level" they can no longer join or be part of a formal Guild. I think a reasonable point for this is when the player's capital city is larger or better than his guild's city.

There could still be informal alliances - "Hey fight with me because we both hate that guy, but you had better watch out towards the end of the battle"

This would prevent massive players from teaming up in massive alliances that would dominate the game, making it less fun for everyone.

Think of it - If you are a massive player in a massive alliance, anyone would be a fool to attack you. Once you dominate the world, well, it isn't as fun to dominate as you thought it was.

This way, things always stay "hopping" and players will always be at each-other's throats, which will keep the MMORTS mode interesting and enjoyable.

Hey I'm all for that keep high level players from teaming up too much but there comes a point when you have to think about how you shouldn't really be in a way punishing people who have accomplished more. No one wants to be thinking about oh only 2 more levels until I'm not allowed in a guild anymore. That would not be something I would want to think about. That's just my thoughts.

Edit: I also believe you can olnly attack people within five levels (not sure though) so this would keep guilds from mauling lower levels.
