Default February Progress Report

Dear Players,

We wanted to post an update on what we are working on since it`s been quiet couple of weeks. Behind the scenes our team is working overtime on massive changes inside the game engine and a huge new late game expansion. With the goals of first fixing any remaining issues in-game, followed by adding a meaningful late game content - changing the nature of entire game.

Patch 24
In our patch 24 we set out to once and for all fix ALL (and I mean every single one) of the bad game breaking bugs still left in-game. And we are making amazing progress that we wanted to share with you. Here`s the list of fixes are are planning to include in the patch 24:

-Multiplayer Lag is fixed - we can confidently say that even players on low end computers with terrible connections will be able to play PvP and CoOp without any latency lag now. This will effect all of our players - as often even the players with good connection and hardware would get multiplayer lag due to their opponent being half way across the world with a slow connection.

-Multiplayer Sync issues - at the same time we are working on eradicating majority of out of sync issues in PvP and CoOp - that should make multiplayer a much better experience and fix variety of other issues

-In-game lag on low end PCs improved - in addition we are adding a game-stop option that will allow players on low end PCs to eradicate majority of their in-game lag

-Missing Resources, Missing Crowns, Missing units - a by-product of out of sync issues and various other bugs will be eliminated once and for all

-Lag for players using Steam client will also get fixed

In addition the patch 24 will include few dozen smaller fixes across the board. And the eta is around February 27th

New Expansion
And after we are done fixing all the remaining bugs - our plan is to greatly expand the game, allowing players not 30 to 40 hours of fun, but 100s of hours of meaningful gameplay in the late game. We`ll have a full announcement in a couple of weeks, meanwhile I`ll just hint at the main feature.... know how before you would control just one town on the world map?
...What if you could control 3 towns? Capture them, manage, garrison and defend from other players...
actually why stop there - why not have your empire of 10 towns that you maintain, garrison and defend against other players?
But why stop about 15 towns, or 20, or 25...more?

This expansion will change entire game from Town building, into Empire building. And the best part - we are not months, but weeks away from releasing this expansion
