Default Sphere casting towers.

Hello, so as I'm sure the devs are aware a good number of us players are unhappy with the way wizards can pretty much slaughter entire armies with one or two castings of certain spells.

And against a siege it's just plain laughable if one guy has a wizard and at least a semi-decent army to act as a bodyguard for him.

One idea I had was, how about a "tower" upgrade that casts a sphere spell surrounding the walls so that meteor shower or lightning storms or other completely OP spells that burn down entire cities actually have a counter to at the very least REDUCE their damage.

This would actually require some strategy again as you can't just roflstomp the dang city with magic.

I kinda like this idea actually, but personally I would just remove AoE damage spells from sieges, problem solved. Why would you burn / destroy a city you are trying to take?

Well that's like saying "eliminate flaming boulders" or "fire arrows" or whatnot from sieges because they can burn down the city as well if you use them right.

Most of the time I try to spare the peasants of an actual player when I do a siege battle but there are also one or two players that honked me off enough to put their whole town to the torch, and that was with just cannons and fire arrows.

I don't mind the ability to destroy someone's town but I just think it should be a deliberate effort that takes time and not a "WOOSH SPELL boom!" whole town lies in ruins.

I definitely like this idea, at first we had the idea of Wizard Guild being able to cast protection spell over a town - I`ll see what we can do with this.

And in the next patch we`ll address wizards for good - this is really OP right now.
