Default Deer

Do the elven deer deteriorate and disappear over time ? as i'm noticing the average resource being brought in from deer is reducing over time.

I had this problem last night, however I found the answer on the wiki:

'The more deer created the less each deer provides to the trickle' ~ (Though I can't find any info on the exact numbers anywhere) So you just have to find the right balance. Also a player in chat said that wolves occasionally eat deer.. though I have yet to have this confirmed.

Default My deer have been dieing

I had up to 50 food coming in from deer and that worked for at least 2 hours. I then went out to the world map to do a mission and when I came back my food production from deer was down to 15.

Is this some kind of a bug or should I not have been able to go that high and it was a bug that I could and it reset when I came back in from the world map?

Thanks

Also keep in mind - wolfs might come around and eat some of your deer But that`s a minor drain

That must have been a lot of wolves to come around and eat that many deer. Maybe I should be growing wolves instead.

The income from deer seems to fluctuate randomly for me. I have about 20 deer and sometimes I get 15+ per minute while at other times I get less than ten for several minutes.

And it doesn't help that I have no info on how many deer there actually are in my city. The FOOD indicator only tells me the total income from deer, but not the number of deer. If anyone knows how to see the number of deer, please let me know.
