Thumbs down Makkada/Looting

Hey guys,

there was a big change to sieges and loot, and i don't like it.

-Why was the solution to makkada to nerf all sieges and looting, when it was the problem?
-Why was makkada a problem?

None of this is making any sense to me. For a week players found a good way to make money in game and flourished. Why turn that into a negative? Whats wrong with the players being able to make a large amount of gold and crowns in game?

Also why the sudden unannounced hotfix to gold w/o any notice? Why did you guys feel the need to increase from (-60) to (-250)? How are new players going to get into the game when the most accessible form of progression is nerfed into the dust?

I personally think that the Makkada looting was too generous in its crowns. I've seen people who have gotten over 1000 crowns just from Makkada farming with a Royal. I'm glad they nerfed it, and people will learn to find new ways of making gold. As for the change in gold decay, I don't know about anyone else, but I was having an insane amount of gold just from letting Dwarves mine away day after day, so much I didn't know how to spend it. At least this way people can't just stockpile gold, they have to use it.

1) if is too easy and give too much is not fair
2) clearly not was working as intended.
3) players who farm/exploit glitch or feature that not work as intended are already lucky that not get a rollback on crowns/gold.

I just wanted to add that we are working on redesigning farmable towns. For example - Makkada will get a lot of ranged troops and impalers protecting the King in the next update.

And yeah guys - it did get too easy

Well, if you are working on farmable towns there is not much left for me to complain about.

I was just concerned that the nerf was taking out people who didn't dragon makkada. I didn't say it in a very good way though.

I would think it would be better to just to make the tiles where the leaders of each castle are, un landable by flying units until at least one of the gates to them is broken down and it triggers the tiles to be landable. When you attack the leaders some units are triggered to come running to help. So seems doable.

Rather than adding more units/projectiles to what is already a loaded city. More chances of crashes and players losing money if not units if they dont have rescources to offer when they crash.

I crashed raiding the elven Capital and i had not money etc on me. So it took 30 units of ogres lvl 20. But the crash also happens everytime when the reinforcments triggered.

the revamp is happening in many ways

1) npc units now use their skill points so their res dmg hp etc is higher
2)units and heroes of towns now are higher lev, expecial the lords
3) we add "guard units" around the castle lord, usually of lev 20
4) we made all small cities possible to siege(this for the expansion)
5) we are thinking on adding extra heroes/monsters, reinforcement "trigger" on various maps
6) better artificial intelligence
7) less bugged wall defence issue
