I agree, although the plan makes sense it also has its complications, besides what if the person is not even on their IM? then they would receive an offline message which they might recieve hours later... it just wouldnt be all too practical... plus the privacy side to it is a major downfall

I personally don't want someone bugging me on my IM, which is typically only on (on my laptop) about 30 minutes from my desktop and DoF. It seems it would just be an inconvenience or annoyance.
