Elite units

Could there be the possibility of some elite units that stands out costumation-wise. I was thinking of linking them to regions you choose and perhaps even som of the traits. Then have the possibility to trade these units among players so those who chose different region and traits could get their hands upon them :-P it could be simple, plain have some knights, mountain have some highlanders. This would also add a greater impact on choosing your starting region and make the races stand out in terms of itself.
