Exclamation Patch # 1.3.0 - New Patch and Greenlight...

Quote:
Great new patch today!

Including a small feature preview of the Siegeworks expansion, defeated NPC towns now become your Ally, opening up trade opportunities. We've also fixed a bug with palisade walls and tweaked the rewards and payouts of PvP - greatly increasing the PvP rewards. In addition we've addressed the issues that stopped password recovery and referral bonus emails getting through, and fixed several other issues.

Also - in the main menu you'll see a reminder about Steam Greenlight. Dawn of Fantasy is now in the top 20 ranked games on Greenlight and should be available on Steam later this year if we get just a thousand more votes. Players will be able to activate their existing keys on Steam.

Thanks for your support and keep an eye out for more news in the coming week that should see a boost in player numbers..

Patch is Live!

-Increased Pay Off cost for not fighting a PvP challenge

Yes, Steam will be optional only, not a requirement.

I really hope it makes ti through Steam - this would be just the shot in the arm it needs. Don't price it too high though. If you set a normal inde game price (maybe $9.99) then I think you will have a lot of takers - the way dungeon defenders did it is also good. I spent most of last night playing DD.

Good luck with Steam - I have been watching and waiting and I hope so much that you are successful with it - you have really tried hard and deserve the big time

Thanks tentimes, thanks for the kind words - and I agree, the pricing might need to go lower than the current 29.99$. And so far it looks good, since the time we posted this - DoF is now #2 on Greenlight, and should be Greenlit in the next round (hopefully in November).

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that pathfinding was ever fixed.

That would be a wonderful, WONDERFUL patch. Just saying.
